Description

Upgrade your hydraulic system with this durable and efficient hydraulic pump, featuring a robust 11/16” chromed and ground steel piston for maximum performance. Designed for reliability, it includes O-ring and Hytrel backup washer pressure seals, ensuring leak-free operation under high pressure. The extra heavy 14 3/4” handle offers enhanced leverage, with a selective two-position option for versatile usage.

The pump has unique design features which insure versatility. The handle can be used in (2) positions. The pump can be mounted vertically and horizontally. There are (3) different volume and pressure settings.

Position 1: 1.25 cu. in. per stroke-1500 psi*

Position 2: .95 cu. in. per stroke-2000 psi*

Position 3: .60 cu. in. per stroke-3000 psi*

*At applied force of 60-65 lbs. on handle. (Pressure to 6,000 psi can be developed with more force)

This hydraulic pump is built for convenience and durability, with a steel tubing reservoir that can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. The four-bolt mounting system (3/8” bolts) adds to the stability, and a built-in float check prevents oil from sloshing. Additionally, the dipstick allows easy monitoring of the oil level, and the handle carrier ensures that the handle remains securely in place when not in use.

Perfect for industrial and heavy-duty applications, this pump provides both reliability and ease of maintenance.

FAQ

What is the PM-HP-10B used for?

A manual hydraulic pump used to power hydraulic functions when you don’t have an electric power unit—commonly used on heavy-duty equipment and hydraulic cylinder applications.

How do I get more force (more pressure) vs faster movement?

This pump has three output settings, and you change them by moving the handle linkage bolt(s) to different holes/positions on the pump’s handle/yoke. One position gives more volume per stroke (faster movement, lower pressure), and the other positions give less volume per stroke (slower movement, higher pressure). Use the setting that matches your load, then re-check tightness and operation after a few cycles.

Can this pump be mounted horizontally or vertically?

Yes. It is designed for horizontal or vertical mounting

My pump isn’t pumping fluid or building pressure—what’s the first thing to check?

Priming. The most common issue on these is that the pump needs to be primed. View our Hydraulic Hand Pump Removal and Installation Instructions

      Mr. Frey,

I apologize for the issue you are experiencing with the hand pump. After looking over your comment, I believe the underlining issue has to do with the pump needing to be primed in order to function properly. Attached is a link to our pump removal and installation procedure. In your case, there is no need to follow the entire procedure, only steps 3 thru 6 will apply. Once you perform the priming function, this should allow the pump to begin working correctly. If you continue to experience issues, please feel free to contact our office for further assistance.

  2. Question

    Tom

I have the release valve closed and the slides are down. When I pump the handle the slides move up but as I raise the handle to pump again the slides go back down. No amount of pumping will raise the slides.
